Linda, Carol, Richard and families,

I was very sorry to hear of your loss. I have fond memories of your mother since I was a small child visiting on New Hampshire Avenue every time we would return to Pittsfield on vacation. As a teenager, your Mom would help me at S&J when I was looking for the latest teen magazine. In recent years, we enjoyed her company on vacations at Cape Cod where she frequently accompanied my Aunt Alice. Our thoughts and condolences are with you at this difficult time. Your Mom will be dearly missed.

Love, Pat (Pearce), Scott, Ryan, and Kevin Palmer

Dear Linda, Carol and families.....

We are so very sorry for the loss of your beloved Mom and Gram. Alma was a true sweetheart and a much beloved friend always considered part of our family as well. My own mother, Alice was one of her longtime best friends, and as recently as last summer at a family gathering (where I am thankful to have seen her for the last time) I was joking that they were like "Lucy and Ethel" as they walked arm in arm. So many childhood memories of growing up in the Morningside neighborhood and setting tables at the Portuguese Club functions with my mom and Alma.... along with "The Group" of parent friends who'd go out dancing and such back in the day! Later adult memories of adventures on Cape Cod where Alma's tolerance, patience, sense of humor and ever-present smile saw my mother through her own granddaughter's less than perfect "restaurant behavior." Rest assured Alma touched many lives, was loved dearly and will be missed but never forgotten. Please know that our sincere sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Remembering her with love and deep affection always.

Love, Karyn (LaChapelle), John and Brooke Sliva
