1926 - 2016 WHITSETT, NC - Agnes (Peg) Cadorette, 89, of 704 Greyrock Road in Whitsett, NC, died peacefully on February 16, 2016. She was born in Pittsfield, MA on March 31, 1926, the daughter of Joseph Eulian and Susan Brockway Eulian. She graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1944. She was married to Joseph Cadorette (deceased) for over 50 years. They met as leaders and members of the YMCA in Pittsfield, MA and continued to serve in YMCA work for their entire lives. After raising her children, Peg began a late career. She was employed by the First United Methodist Church in Pittsfield, MA and was a volunteer in the Pastoral Care Division at the Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. She was also associated with the Rose Real Estate Agency in Pittsfield as one of their top real estate agents. She was a member of the YMCA USVBA Volleyball Team that won the New England Championship in 1958 and in 1959 and was the first woman to be inducted into the Berkshire County Volleyball Hall of Fame. Peg was very artistic and enjoyed crafts of every kind. She was a fitness enthusiast and enjoyed golf, cross country skiing and swimming. After moving to Alamance County, NC in 2003, she became a very active member of St. Mark's Church, the Burlington YMCA and the Alamance County Senior Center. She successfully competed in the NC Senior games in Raleigh using her athletic prowess and her craft abilities to win many gold medals. Along with her husband, Joseph, she was preceded in death by her parents and her six brothers and sisters. She leaves four children, a daughter, Joanne Soliday (Keith) of Elon, NC, a daughter, Sherry Cadorette (Janice) of Whitsett, NC, a daughter, Joyce Conlin (Bob) of Longmeadow, MA and a son, Jeffry of Media, PA. She also leaves nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. The family will be forever grateful to the Lakeside staff at Twin Lakes Coble Healthcare Center and the dedicated staff at Hospice of Alamance County for their loving care. (914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215) The Family will be gathered at Peg's home at, 704 Greyrock Road in Whitsett, North Carolina. A memorial service will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, February 20th at St. Mark's Church Worship Center with the Rev. Robert Disher Jr. and the Rev. Ben Bishop officiating.
