Albert "Bobby" Vecellio

1930-2013 PITTSFIELD Mr. Albert "Bobby" Vecellio, 83, of 193 Elberon Ave. (Rose Manor Apts.) died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Berkshire Medical Center.

He was born in Pittsfield on Jan. 22, 1930, a son of the late Antonio and Amabile (Oliver) Vecellio and attended Pittsfield Schools.

He was employed by Berkshire Unlimited for several years as an assembler.

He is survived by two nieces, Anne L. White of Pittsfield and Cecelia Rufo of Dalton; two grandnieces and one grandnephew.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Lamone and Norma Olekson; and one niece, Helen Downey.

Albert was beloved by his caregivers, Kelly, Theresa, Bernard and others at Rose Manor. His family would like to thank everyone at Rose Manor for their skill and dedication to Albert. Albert was a kind and gentle man.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Services will take place Friday, February 15, 2013 at 8 a.m. from the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church by the Rev. Monsignor Michael A. Shershanovich, Pastor. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
