Alice M. Dicicco

1917-2013 DALTON Mrs. Alice M. Dicicco, 96, of 45 Main St., died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Berkshire Place where she resided for the past month. Born in Pittsfield on April 14, 1917 she was the daughter of the late John T. and Alice Mary Kimmey McDonald. Alice was a life long resident of Pittsfield and a 1934 graduate of St. Joseph Central High School. She worked as a sales clerk at the former Holden & Stone Clothing Store as well as at the former England Brother's Department Store. She retired in 1977 after 20 years of working in the retail industry. She was a communicant of St. Josephs Church. She was an avid bridge player and was a member of several bridge clubs. She was predeceased by her brother, Edward McDonald, as well as two sisters, Katherine Lambert and M. Patricia O'Leary. She leaves several nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE:Funeral services will be Friday, September 27, 2013 at 10 a.m. from the DWYER FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church celebrated by Msgr. Michael Shershanovich, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. A calling hour will be held on Friday morning from 9 until 10 a.m. at the DWYER FUNERAL HOME.
