1925 - 2015 PITTSFIELD Angelica Margaret Marinaro, 89, of 94 Elaine Drive, died Friday, June 19, 2015, at her home. Born in East Orange, NJ, on October 20, 1925, the daughter of Frank and Rose Agneta Paone, she was a high school graduate. Mrs. Marinaro had been employed by Berkshire Life Insurance Company where she was a legal secretary for five years. During the 1970s, she taught at St. Joseph Central High School. She was also a seamstress who made many things including wedding dresses. Mrs. Marinaro was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. She was the first female athletic director of the Booster Club at St Joseph Central High School. She was also a polling place warden for Ward 7C. Mrs. Marinaro was a very devoted wife and caregiver to her veteran husband who vigilantly drove him to church. Her husband, Frank Saverio Marinaro, died October 25, 2003. Mrs. Marinaro is survived by her sons, Francis B. Marinaro and his wife, Marianne, of Pittsfield, and Vincent P. Marinaro of Pittsfield; four grandchildren, Nicholas and his fiancee, Ginny Fuller, Justin, Christopher, and Gabrielle. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Angelica Margaret Marinaro will be held Monday, June 22, with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12 Noon at Sacred Heart Church. Entombment will follow in St. Michael the Archangel Mausoleum. Calling hours will be Sunday, from 2 to 5 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Pittsfield Council on Aging or to HospiceCare in The Berkshires both in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
