Angelina "Angie" Curletti

1921 - 2016 PITTSFIELD Angelina "Angie" Curletti, 94 formerly of 379 East St., passed away Friday January 1, 2016 at Kimball Farms Nursing Care Center in Lenox. She was born in Pittsfield on May 6, 1921 a daughter of the late Francesco and Adelaide (Aresca) Biglia. She attended Pittsfield schools and graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1939. She was employed at General Electric Co., Crane & Co., and the former Curletti's Market but was primarily a homemaker. She was a former Communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church and a member of its Rosary Society. Angie enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She was the widow of Eugene R. Curletti who died on July 31, 2007 and they were married on July 15, 1946. Survivors include her two sons, Dr. Eugene L. Curletti and his wife, Dolores of Pittsfield and Mark J. Curletti of Carolina Beach, NC, six grandchildren, Eugene W. Curletti and his wife, Robin, John Curletti and his wife, Michelle, Henry Curletti and his wife, Julia, Casey Conry and his wife, Christina, Christopher Conry and his wife, Rachael, Carly Curletti, 10 great-grandchildren, former daughter-in-law, Kathleen Curletti of Wilmington, NC, sister-in-law, Domenica "Mecca" Curletti, niece, Christine Schroeder and her husband, J. William of Cobleskill, NY. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Angelina "Angie" Curletti will be celebrated Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at 10a.m. at St. Mark's Church, 400 West St., Pittsfield, with the Rev. John C. Salatino, Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 will be Wednesday, January 6, from 8:30 to 9:30a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Berkshire Visiting Nurse Association in care of the funeral home.
