Angelina "Angie" Poulton

1943 - 2014 CHESHIRE Mrs. Angelina Mary "Angie" (Burzimati) Poulton, 71, of 3 Third Ave., died Thursday morning, Oct. 16, 2014, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. She was born in Pittsfield on Apr. 18, 1943, a daughter of the late Fioravanti "John" Burzimati and Lena (Sondrini) Burzimati. She attended schools in Cheshire and Adams, graduating from the former Adams High School. She then graduated from the former LeBarron's School of Hairdressing in Pittsfield. She had lived in Cheshire all of her life. She was the owner and operator of Angie's Beauty Salon in Cheshire for 50 years. Earlier, she started her career at the former Mayfair Beauty Salon in Pittsfield, and was well known for traveling to area healthcare centers and private residences to perform hair styling for people who couldn't travel to her salon. She was a communicant and active member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Cheshire. She was a very hard worker who could never say "No', and enjoyed dancing, playing cards, trips to the casinos, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles Poulton, Sr., whom she married on June 20, 1964; a daughter, Lisa Rice and her husband, Tracy, of Windsor; a son, Charles Poulton, Jr., and his wife, Donna, of Adams; three grandchildren, Kelsey and Sean Rice and Rebecca Poulton; A brother, John Burzimati and his wife, Susan, of Chesire; two sisters, Maureen "Midge" Segala and her husband, Michael, of Sunderland, Mass. and Maria Mendonca , of Cheshire; An aunt, Mary Burzimati, of North Adams; and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be held on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014 at 8:45 a.m. from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Cheshire, celebrated by the Rev. David R. Raymond, Pastor. Burial will follow in Cheshire Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
