Angeline M. Baldauf

1916 - 2015 GREAT BARRINGTON Angeline M. Baldauf, 98, died March 20, at Fairview Commons Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Sheffield on June 22, 1916, daughter to Antonio and Antoinia (Sebben) Marcon. Angeline attended Sheffield schools. After school she worked for Monument Mills from 1941-1952, and then at Rising Paper Co. in Housatonic as a paper sorter for 23 years before retiring in 1978. Angeline was a communicant of Saint Peter's Church and a member of the Rosary Sodality. She took care of stray animals cats and dogs and enjoyed flowers and sewing. Angeline's husband, Joseph Baldauf, whom she married on Oct. 31, 1936, in Saint Peter's Church predeceased her on Nov. 11, 1986. Angeline in survived by one sister, Helena Jennings of West Stockbridge; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews, among them her niece and caregiver, Sandra Kleiner. In addition to her husband Joseph, Angeline is predeceased by two brothers, John, and Louis Marcon; and three sisters, Mary Pirotto, Pauline Marchetto, Laura Ebitz, and Grace Grazie. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 26, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10a.m. at St. Peter's Church with the Reverend William P. Murphy, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday March 25 from 4 - 6 p.m. at the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME 33 South Street Great Barrington MA 01230. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Angeline's memory may be made to the St. Peter's Church Restoration Fund or to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the BirchesRoy Funeral Home, 33 South Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230.
