Anita May Parent Passardi

1931-2012 NORTH ADAMS Mrs. Anita May Parent Passardi, 81 of 185 Veazie St. North Adams, died Thursday August 30, 2012 at Williamstown Commons.

She was born in Readsboro, Vt., on February 15, 1931, daughter of Arthur Parent and Irene (Aubertine) Parent Pratt. She attended schools in Wilmington, Vt.

Anita was last employed by Mount Snow Ski Resort.

She was an active communicant of St. Joachim's Church in Readsboro, Vt. where she was a member of its St. Anne's Society. Anita helped organize turkey dinners and assisted with other church fundraisers. She also enjoyed gardening, giving to charity, and spending time with family and friends, especially brunch on Sundays with the girls.

She was the widow of Alfred Passardi who died on February 11, 1995. They were married on March 21, 1970.

Survivors include one daughter- Irene Wilges of New Lebanon, Ohio. Three sons; Edward Lescarbeau of West Carrollton, Ohio; Michael Lescarbeau of North Adams; and Bruce Lescarbeau of Readsboro, Vt. Eleven Grandchildren and many great grandchildren. One sister; Jeannette Brown of Wilmington, Vt., and Nieces and Nephews. Two brothers and one sister are deceased including Barbara Randall; and Raymond and Leonard Parent.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Anita Passardi will be celebrated Tuesday September 4, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Joachim's Church in Readsboro. Burial will follow in Village Cemetery. Calling hours at the church are Tuesday morning from 8 to 10 a.m.
