Born in Pittsfield on May 4, 1933, Ann was preceded in death by both parents, Richard and Doris Ringie, her husband of 55 years, James F. Brennan; her daughter, Mary E. Brennan; and granddaughter, Kelly Brennan.
She is survived by her siblings, Mary Palmer, S. Harwich, Doris (Dominic) Kellogg, Pittsfield, and Bill (Erma) Ringie, Pittsfield; her son, James F. Brennan (Sofia) of Orlando, Fla.; three grandchildren, Nicky (Logan) Haynes, Austin, Texas, Kaitlin Brennan & Jimmy Brennan, Orlando, Fla.; and a great-grandchild, Ever Kelly Haynes of Austin, Texas; and many godchildren, nieces and nephews.
Ann was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School Class of 1950 in Pitttsfield, Mass. She worked in the health field over her adult life in the Boston and Cape Cod area hospitals and convalescent centers. Her last tenure was as a Hemodialysis Nurse at the Cape Cod Artificial Kidney Center, Hyannis, Mass. prior to retirement.
Ann was a wonderful warm person who touched the lives of all she met. Cherished by her her family and friends, she also befriended and comforted the patients she cared for over the years, turning their sufferings and scheduled visits into more of a positive experience. Ann was also a devoted Catholic and was active with The Church Choir, and many facets of Church activities. Music was a big part of her life, either entertaining friends and family playing the piano or singing at a party. She had great talent. She also loved sewing, knitting, and was known to always greet a family member or friend's newborn with a blanket or outfit she would take the time to knit. Ann loved her grandchildren dearly, and spent as much quality time with them all as possible. She was a beautiful, gentle, giving and kind-spirited soul who loved all, and was loved by all. She already is greatly missed.
