Annette C. (Koonz) Levesque Obituary
Annette C. (Koonz) Leveque, 83, of 191 Ashland St. died Friday, March 6, at Berkshire Medical Center.
She was born on May 10, 1931, in Cornwall, N.Y., a daughter of the late Joseph H. and Theresse (Gunther) Koonz. She attended schools at Chester and Goshen, N.Y. and graduated from St. Joseph's High School in North Adams.
She was last employed for more than 20 years as an office manager for VNA and Hospice of North Adams.
She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church and was a corporator of North Adams Regional Hospital.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Louis Leveque, whom she married on Oct. 23, 1954 in St. Francis Church. She is also survived by her two daughters, Catherine Leveque of Falmouth, and Judith Warren of Falmouth; as well as four sons, William Leveque of Falmouth, Richard L. Leveque, Jr. of Nashua, N.H., Thomas Leveque of North Adams, and David Leveque of North Adams. She also leaves 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Joan Gazzaniga of Williamstown, and Virginia Koonz of West Springfield. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Koonz; and two brothers, Rev. John A. Koonz, and Joseph H. Koonz.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Saturday March 14, at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in the spring. Calling hours at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, Ma. are Friday from 4 - 7p.m.
