1951 - 2016 AnnMarie (D'Ilio) Hamling, 64 of Pittsfield, MA passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Mt. Greylock Extended Care Facility in Pittsfield. She was born in Pittsfield on November 4, 1951 a daughter of the late Albert and Reva (DiNicola) D'Ilio. She attended Pittsfield schools and graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1969. AnnMarie was first employed at USF & G as a manager for 12 years and then was employed at General Electric Co. for 10 years as a secretary in the Ordnance Dept. She was then employed at Crowne Plaza as the catering manager for over 6 years and was last employed at Molari Inc. for 11 years and retired in 2014. AnnMarie was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and was a member of the Sons of Italy ITAM Lodge #564 of Pittsfield. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a wonderful cook at family gatherings. AnnMarie considered everyone as family. She enjoyed crafts, especially making greeting cards with her monthly card group and going on family vacations to casinos, cruises and beaches. Survivors include her husband Harold C. Hamling Jr. and they were married on September 19, 1970, three sons, Jay A. Hamling of Pittsfield, Anthony D. Hamling and his significant other Aaron Slater of Pittsfield, Alex J. Hamling of Portland ME, two grandchildren, Milton "Cubby" Gasson, Jayden Hamling, one sister, Jean Perrea and her Fiance Paul Mokrzecki of Washington, MA and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral Notice: Services will take place Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016 at 9:00 A.M. from the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 196 Elm St., Pittsfield. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday, September 5, from 4-7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Moments House or to in care of the funeral home. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Berkshire Medical Center and to the Nurses and CNA's at Mt. Greylock Extended Care Facility for their compassionate and professional care during AnnMarie's final days. She will be greatly missed by anyone who had the privilege of meeting her.
