1945 - 2015 LEEBarbara C. Puleri, 70, of Railroad St. in Lee, died Sunday, December 27th , at the Berkshire Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pittsfield on February 8, 1945 the daughter of Guido and Lena Nolli Scarafoni. Barbara was a 1962 graduate of Lee High School and a long time employee of the former McClelland Drug Store in Lee. She enjoyed watching her children play sports throughout their younger years. Barbara was a devoted fan of all her grandchildren's teams, especially those on the basketball courts. The most important thing in her life was spending quality time with family, even if that meant just watching her grandchildren. Another one of her favorite past times was cooking. She took great pride in making meals for her loved ones, and also her closest friends. She enjoyed dining out at various local restaurants with her beloved friends and she loved shopping with her daughter, and best friend, Lisa. She leaves her husband Francis "Monk" Puleri whom she married April 19, 1969, her sons, Rick Puleri and his wife, Michele of Lee, Jeffrey Puleri and his wife, Elizabeth of Pittsfield; her daughter, Lisa Kinnas and her husband, Randy of Pittsfield; her brother, G. James "Punky" Scarafoni and his wife, Sandra of Lee; her sister, Ann R. Simone and her husband, Michael of Lee; her seven grandchildren; Emma, Mia, Elyse, Brent, Tia, Alexis, Cameron and a grandson who is expected in March. FUNERAL SERVICES: The Funeral for Barbara will be held on Thursday, Dec. 31st at 9:15a.m. from the Kelly Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Lee. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 30th from 4 to 7p.m. Friends wishing may make donations to The Berkshire Family YMCA or the Lee Youth Association in care of the Kelly Funeral Home at 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238.
