1943 - 2015 ADAMS Beatrice Pelletier, 71, formerly of Adams passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, at the North Adams Commons Care Center. Born in Adams on Sept. 9, 1943, daughter of the late Phillippe and Lucina Pelletier, she attended the former Notre Dame Elementary School in Adams and graduated from the former St. Joseph High School in North Adams. Beatrice was employed as a secretary for the General Electric Co. in Pittsfield, the former Sprague Electric Co., and also the former Quinn's Paint & Wallpaper Store both in North Adams, after which she became a homemaker. Beatrice was a communicant of Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church in Adams. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed knitting and cooking. She is survived by a daughter, Elise Pelletier and her husband, Michael Liona, of Montclair, N.J.; a sister, Theresa Dolle of Clarksburg; two grandchildren, Jacob and Lucas Liona; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Guy, Phillippe, and Joseph Pelletier; and six sisters, Bernadette Kondel, Lucille Zieba, Jeanne D'arc Robert, Mary "Gabby" Pelletier, Lucienne Pelletier, and Giselle "Sue" Gould. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Beatrice will take place Sunday, March 1, at 12:30 p.m. from the TROTTIER PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams, with the Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor of St. John Paul II Parishes in Adams, officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family, calling hours at the funeral home will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to the St. Stanislaus Kostka School in care of the funeral home.
