1932 - 2013 PITTSFIELD Berniece June Spring, 81, of 97 Greenwich Street, died at her home on Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 23, 1932, in Pittsfield, a daughter of Chester and Bernice Ethier Vickery, she attended schools in Pittsfield and was a 1950 graduate of Pittsfield High School. She was last employed by Richmor Aviation as office coordinator for 10 years, retiring in 1985. She also, at one time, worked at the General Electric Company for several years as well as being a school bus driver for four years. She enjoyed arts and crafts and traveling. She is survived by her three sons, Steven P. Spring of Evansville, Ind., Scot D. Spring and his companion, Joan Chapman, of Pittsfield and Stacy E. Spring of Eagleville, Pa.; a daughter, Selenna A. Tremblay of Pittsfield; three brothers, Richard, Chet and Leroy Vickery; two grandsons, Shawn and Sandy and two great-grandchildren, Sydney and Dakota, her longtime companion, Stan Sessler, and friend, Leo Layden. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the DERY FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in the Pittsfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory may be made to the Elizabeth Freeman Center in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201
