Beverly Boraski Obituary
Beverly Frances Elser Boraski "Nana"

1932-2013 FUQUAY-VARINA, NC On Sunday, August 18th, Beverly Boraski went home after battling dementia for many years. She was surrounded by family. Beverly was known as "Nana" to everyone. She was born in Pittsfield in November 1932 to Dorothy and Norm Elser. She was an active skier and polka dancer. She worked for General Electric for many years before her children were born. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Beverly was always concerned that everyone was taken care of. She traveled from Massachusetts to Pinehurst in the early 60's to start her family. Pinehurst was always her favorite place to live. Following Koots from golf course to golf course, Beverly lived in Cary NC and worked with her Kmart family for several years. After Koots' passing, she moved to Fuquay to be near her family. Nana became the unofficial host at Hit and Run batting cages. The kids loved to come and sit and visit with her and eat oatmeal cookies. She was preceded in death by her parents Norm and Dorothy Elser; sister, Shirley; and husband Stan. She is survived by sister, Karen Elser Saathoff (Glen); children, Stan (Robin), Steve (Gina); and grandchildren, Zachary, Marissa, Trevor, and Kyle. We would like to thank Hospice of Wake County for their gentle care of our family during this time. FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Raleigh Memorial Park. Donations can be made to Alzheimers Foundation of NC or Hospice of Wake County.
