Obituary Condolences

Blanche J. Rusek 1915-2012 Mrs. Blanche Julia (Kopec) Rusek, 96, formerly of 5 Godek St. Adams, died Friday evening, May 4, 2012, at Sweet Brook Care Center in Williamstown. She was born in Adams on October 1, 1915, a daughter of the late Tytus and Anastasia (Wlodyka) Kopec. She attended St. Stanislaus Kostka School and the former Adams High School. Mrs. Rusek worked at Adams Laundry & Dry Cleaning for many years, until her retirement. She had been a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, and was a member of the St. Stanislaus Rosary Sodality. Her husband, Frank Rusek, died on Sept. 7, 1952. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Rusek of Aberdeen, Md., and Robert Rusek of Nashua, N.H.; A brother, John Kopec of Atlanta, Ga.; three Grandchildren, four Great Grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Frank Kopec; and by 3 sisters, Helen Kalisz, Sophie Kopec and Victoria Zoltek. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be held on Saturday, May 12th, at 11:30 a.m. from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, celebrated by Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, Pastor of the Parish of Blessed John Paul the Great. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Saturday morning from 10 to 11:30 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Stanislaus Kostka School through the funeral home.
