1945 - 2015 ADAMS Mrs. Bonnie Jean (Bleau) Joppich, 70, of 37 Anthony St., died Sunday morning, November 15, 2015, at Springside of Pittsfield. She was born in Williamstown, MA on July 27, 1945, a daughter of the late Raymond and Kathryn (Snide) Bleau. She attended Williamstown schools, and graduated from the former Williamstown High School with the Class of 1963. She then attended Berkshire Community College. Mrs. Joppich last worked as a medical assistant for BFAIR at their Adams residential facility. She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Cheshire. She enjoyed crocheting, making jewelry, and playing bingo. Her husband, James E. Joppich, whom she married on September 24, 1966, died on October 22, 1999. She is survived by her two sons, Jay Joppich and his wife, Donna, of Adams, and Lance Joppich and his wife, Dawn, of North Adams; a brother, Raymond F. Bleau, Jr. of Mooers Forks, NY; four grandchildren, Anna Hawley of North Adams; Damian Joppich of Adams; and Troy and Taylor Andrews of Stow, Ohio; two step grandchildren, Hannah and Will Schrade of North Adams; two great-grandchildren, Cyrus Wright and Alexander Hawley; as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Melanie LaBelle and Kristen Bleau. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 21st, at 12 Noon in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Church St. Cheshire. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. There are no calling hours.
