Bruce A. MacLean

1951-2016 PITTSFIELD, MA Bruce Alan MacLean, 64, died on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Springside Rehabilitation in Pittsfield, MA. He was born in North Adams, MA on October 19, 1951 a son to the late Alexander and Anna (Meldrum) MacLean. He attended schools in Williamstown and graduated from McCann Technical High School in 1969. He was a decorated veteran of the Viet Nam War. Mr. MacLean was employed as a commercial painter in the tri-state area for many years. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Survivors include two sons, Duncan MacLean and his wife, Megan of Johnsonville, NY and Jay MacLean and his wife, Kayleigh of Pownal, VT as well as a step daughter, Jackie Berry of Bennington, VT. He leaves his grandchildren, Alexandria and Ryker MacLean, Jesse Peters and Skylar Berry. Survivors also include his two sisters, Trudy Peck and her husband, David of Clarksburg and Lorna Casey and her husband, James of Florida and a brother, John MacLean and his wife, Kathleen of Hatfield, MA and several nieces and nephews. FUNERAL SERVICES: A funeral Service for Bruce Alan MacLean will take place on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 1p.m. in the Sherman Burbank Memorial Chapel, Main Street, Williamstown, MA. Burial, with military honors, will follow in the Veteran's Section of Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown, MA. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to Soldier On in care of the Flynn and Dagnoli Funeral Home, 74 Marshall Street, North Adams, MA or simply thank a local veteran for their service to our country.
