Carmen M. Liston
1921-2014 LENOX DALE Carmen Marie Coderre Liston, 92, of Lenox Dale, died Sunday morning at Kindred-Laurel Lake Center in Lee. Born in Winsted, Conn. on September 7, 1921, the daughter of Rodolphe E. and Armandine Daunais Coderre, she grew up in Northampton and moved to Lenox Dale in 1937. She graduated from Lenox High School in 1940. Mrs. Liston was employed in the accounting department of the former Smith Paper Co. in Lee from 1942-1952 and from 1972 until her retirement in 1980 she was the secretary for the Town of Lenox Department of Public Works. She was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Lenox Dale. Mrs. Liston and her husband, Charles J. Liston, were married July 4, 1952. Besides her husband of Lenox Dale, she is survived by her daughter, Sally J. Vincent and her husband Jeffrey T. Vincent of Lenox; two sons, Monsignor Daniel P. Liston of Springfield and Gary T. Liston of Lenox; and one grandson, J. Nicholas Vincent of Boston. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son, Timothy C. Liston in 1976; her sister, Jacqueline Bouchard;, and her brothers, Germain Coderre and F. Andre Coderre. FUNERAL NOTICE: The Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Carmen C. Liston of Lenox Dale, who died March 23, 2014, will be Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Lenox Dale. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery in Lenox. The family invites you to join them at St. Ann Parish Center following the service. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Church in care of the ROCHE FUNERAL HOME, 120 Main Street, Lenox, MA 01240.
