Carol Ann Barzowskas Talora

1944-2014 LEE Carol Ann (Barzowskas) Talora, 70 of 21 Crossway St., Apt. 203, Lee, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 1, 2014 at Berkshire Medical Center after a long bout of cancer. She was born in Pittsfield, on February 11, 1944, a daughter of the late Charles and Viola (Hoffman) Barzowskas. She attended Pittsfield Schools and graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1963. She was employed as the former Postmaster in South Lee and was last employed as the office manager for several years at the Black Swan Inn in Lee. She enjoyed the outdoors on sunny days, crossword puzzles, her cats and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her son, Joseph Talora of Peru, Mass., and his companion Shannon Petersoli; her daughter, Tina McLaughlin of Lee, and her companion David Joyne; one sister, Joan Broderick and her husband Richard of Pittsfield; four grandchildren, Amanda and Sean McLaughlin, Karli and Kaeli Talora. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral Service will take place Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm Street, Pittsfield, Ma. 01201 with the Rev. Richard Hayes, Chaplain of HospiceCare in the Berkshires, officiating. Calling Hours will be held Saturday prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
