Catherine R. Robinson

1927 - 2014 WILLIAMSTOWN Catherine Rita Robinson, 86, of 40 Arnold St. Williamstown, died Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Williamstown Commons, after a three year battle with cancer. She was born in Williamstown, on Aug. 14, 1927, daughter of George Robinson Sr. and Anna Lefebvre Robinson, and attended local schools. She was last employed by the PhoTech Mill in Williamstown, for 14 years, until her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and St. Raphael's Church. Catherine loved animals and also enjoyed trips to the casino. Survivors include her sister, Evelyn Robinson of Williamstown; two nephews, James J. Robinson and John A. Robinson; a niece, Judith A. Robinson; five grandnieces and grandnephews; a great-grandniece and a great-grandnephew; her sister-in-law, Lena A. Robinson of Pittsfield, and her beloved cat, "Baby." She was predeceased by two brothers, Lawrence Robinson and George Robinson Jr. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Catherine Robinson will be celebrated Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Williamstown. Burial will follow in Eastlawn cemetery. There are no calling hours.
