Christine "Mimi" Romaniak 1952-2012 ADAMS Miss Christine "Mimi" Romaniak, 59, of 33 East St., Adams, died on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Berkshire Medical Center, Pittsfield. She was born in Adams on November 7, 1952, daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Trella) Romaniak, Sr. She attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams High School with the class of 1970. She then attended Fordam University in Bronx, N.Y., and graduated in 1974, and later graduated from the University of California (CHICO) with her M.B.A. in 1978. Mimi was last employed as an administrative assistant for the Marion Helpers in Stockbridge. Earlier she had worked as the Vice Principal of Mildred Elley, Pittsfield and the Woopie Radio Station in Pittsfield. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. She is survived by; One Sister-in-Law; Carol Armata and her husband Robert of Stamford, Vt.; two nephews; Thomas Romaniak and his wife Ann and Mitchell Romaniak and his wife Christina, all of Adams; two grandnieces, Kelsey Romaniak of Chicago, Ill and Cali Romaniak of Adams; one grandnephew and Godson; Drew Romaniak of Adams; two other God Children; Bernadette Starczewska and Thomas Speckels and several cousins and close friends. She was predeceased by her brother Andrew Romaniak, Jr. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be on Saturday, March 10, at 11:30 a.m. from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12 NOON in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
