2003-2012 Christopher Robert Ledford, age 9, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012 at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

Christopher was born May 26, 2003 in Elizabethtown, Ky., to Jason Wayne and Laura K. Bennett Ledford.

Christopher was a 4th grade student at David T. Wilson Elementary. He loved to play Flag Football, Soccer, helping on the farm, playing with his Sister & Brother, loved power rangers, swimming, & video games. He wanted to be a soldier when he grew up.

He is preceded in death by: His twin, Cameron Ledford, Great-Grandparents, Robert Provencher, Caroline Hill, Macy Condor, Frank Condor and Edmon Ledford and Cousin, Ava Doane.

He is survived by: His parents, Jason and Laura Ledford of Brandenburg, Ky., Sister, Halee Ledford, Brother, Nicholas Ledford, Grandparents, Forrest and Helen Ledford of Brandenburg, Kathy and Ralph Packard of Payneville and Jeff and Pam Bennett of Hinsdale, Aunts & Uncles include, Stacy (Todd) Mason of Lexington, Jeff (Stefanie) Doane of Frankfort, and Moriah (Brent) Kearton of Brandenburg, Great-Grandparents, Mary Ledford of Brandenburg, Jeanette Mindle of Becket, and Ralph W. Packard of Maryland, Katharine Wunder of Hinsdale, and Elroy & Bettyruth Bruington of Brandenburg, Cousins, Victorya Willis, Zachary and Benjamin Kearton, Silas Mason and Amelia Mason, and Bonus-Parents, Navapol Tarakam of Lexington, and Tammy Pope of Irvington.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 12 Noon EST from the Chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home with burial to follow in Ekron Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 9, from 12 Noon till 9 p.m. EST and Saturday after 9 a.m. at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to a Monument Fund, c/o the Funeral Home.
