Wood, faithful daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of May 8th at the youthful age of 50 following a brave, two-year battle with cancer. She enjoyed music and would sing the soundtracks to Jesus Christ Superstar and Rocky Horror Picture Show word-for-word whenever the opportunity would present itself. She also loved to dance, especially to Celluloid Heroes by The Kinks and to any band she was able to see live. She enjoyed traveling to visit her brother and his family and loved the beach, hiking, and her pets, Rocky and Hawkeye. Cindy was a graduate of Lenox High School and attended the University of Massachusetts. Cindy worked for many years in the human service field prior to changing careers to her true passion, landscaping. She worked at Webster-Ingersoll in Sheffield many years prior to opening her own landscaping business with a partner, Kendrick and Wood. She enjoyed horses, ice fishing, and gardening.
