1938 - 2015 CLARKSBURG Clarence Walter Ritcher, 77, of 36 Demers Avenue died on Monday November 2, 2015 at the North Adams Commons. He was born in Clarksburg on April 2, 1938 a son of Elroy and Ada (Braman) Ritcher. He attended schools in North Adams and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked at General Electric Co. for over 25 years. He was a member to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. Survivors include his wife, Betty Ann (Bostwick) Ritcher whom he married on January 23, 1960 at the Stamford Community Church. He also leaves four children including, Allen Ritcher and his wife, Irene of Woodstock, CT. Dawn Valotta and her husband, Michael of Clarksburg, Darrin Ritcher and Angie of Greenfield, MA and Christine Whiteman and her husband, Michael of Canaan, NY. He leaves 19 grandchildren, one sister, Caroline Brazeau of North Adams. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Ritcher, great granddaughter, Lily Ann Luczynski and seven brothers including, Theodore & Henry Raymond, and Arthur, Robert, Calvin & Alfred Ritcher, and Sonny Laroche and two sisters, Veronica Crockwell and Anna Laroche. FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours will take place on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 6 to 8p.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli Montagna Home for Funerals WEST Chapels 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA 01247.
