1987 2013 Mr. Corey Michael Meczywor, 26, of 218 Columbia St., Adams, died on Friday, November 8, 2013 at his home. He was born in Minot, North Dakota on October 4, 1987, a son of Dawn Galmore and her husband William of Singapore and Theodore S. Meczywor, II and his wife Kim of Adams. He attended schools all over the world and graduated from Kadena High School in Okinawa, Japan. He went on to attend the University of Maryland. Corey last worked as the warehouse manager for Scotts Inside Out, Pittsfield. He had also worked for Interprint in Pittsfield and MassMoca in North Adams. The job he was most proud of was being the Director of the USO in Quatar, while living there. Corey loved to travel and had lived all over the world. He was an avid outdoor enthusiast as well as an avid extreme sports enthusiast. He enjoyed skating, surfing, rock climbing and had a black belt in Karate. Besides his parents, he is survived by, three brothers, Theodore S. Meczywor, III and his wife Shelley of Oxnard, CA, Shawn H. Meczywor of Singapore and Joshua A. Galmore of Dallas, TX; one half sister, Megan Meczywor of Adams; His maternal grandparents, Patricia Pilot and her husband Thomas of North Adams, Joseph Bordeau and his wife Stephanie of Cheshire and William Galmore and Inez Granger of Mississippi; His paternal grandparents, Theodore and Sandra Meczywor of Adams; two nieces, Ariah and Alanna Meczywor; one nephew, Xavier Meczywor and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services and burial will be private for the family at a later date. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 3:00PM to 6:00PM at the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. The family requests the omission of flowers and suggests that donations be made to the family through the funeral home.
