She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lake Church and recently the Holy Name Parish Church in Russell. She was past President of the America Legion in Chicopee. She was a waitress for many years in restaurants around the area. She enjoyed life. She enjoyed people. Cossette would say everyday is a gift from God. She enjoyed working in her garden, crocheting, crossword puzzles, and bird watching. Her greatest joy was saying the rosary. She is survived by her son, David M. Guy, Sr., and his wife, Judy, of Peru; her daughter, Cynthia, and her husband, Jimmy, of Georgia; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her daughter-in-law, Sharon Guy of Worthington. She was predeceased by her husband, Roland, of 49 years, in 1994; her son, Roland late of Worthington; her brother, Willard, and her sisters, Ethel, Mabel, and Stella. At her request, all services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Center Cemetery in Peru.
