1942 - 2015 ADAMS Mrs. Cynthia A. (Rodowicz) Robinson, 72, of 8 Arnold Ave., died Saturday morning, September 12, 2015, at North Adams Commons. She was born in Adams on October 16, 1942, a daughter of the late Adolph and Rachel (Pare') Rodowicz. She attended Adams schools, and graduated from the former Adams High School with the Class of 1960. Mrs. Robinson last worked for Surgimed Corp. in North Adams for over 10 years, until retiring in 2008. Earlier, she had worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams, Berkshire Life Insurance Co. and the former Harbor Woolen in Adams. She was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II in Adams, where she was active in many parish activities, including bazaars and the Fall Fest. She enjoyed knitting and sewing, reading and walking. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James A. Robinson, whom she married on October 23, 1965; a daughter, Laurie Carpenter and her husband, Tim, of Adams; a son, Steven Robinson and his wife, Renee, of Pittsfield; three grandchildren, Tyler and Jordyn Carpenter and Brody Robinson; a sister, Beverly Jobert of Bluffton, SC; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Bryan Robinson, on June 11, 2006. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 16th, at 9a.m. from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Chritian Burial at 10a.m. in Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, Adams, celebrated by the Rev. Steven G. Montesanti, Pastor. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are TODAY, Tuesday, from 4 to 7p.m. at the funeral home.
