Dianne Nash 1933-2012 Dianne Nash of BerkshireTown, died peacefully on January 24, 2012. Born on December 13, 1933, she was the daughter of Arthur George and Mary Jane Gagne Nadeau. She graduated in 1951 from Pittsfield High School where she was active in all sports. In 1950, she was a member of the Berkshire County Aquatic Club that took top honors at the first synchronized swimming meet sanctioned by the New England AAU in Boston. Continuing her education, she graduated from Pittsfield Secretarial School 1952. Following graduation, she worked for Attorney William Henderson. She later went to work for General Electric Company from where she retired in 1995. She then worked for the Berkshire County Association for Retarded Citizens for 12 years. She loved that experience and considered her clients very special She was also an independent real estate broker and enjoyed selling land. Following her retirement, she went to live at BerkshireTown. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, concerts, and many other activities with her friends. Mrs. Nash is survived by her four children, Denise Nash and her partner, Pat Tornicelli of Lenox, Nadine Nash Pomakis and her husband, Donald, of Easthampton, Kathryn Nash of Pittsfield, and Thomas P. Nash and his wife, Kathleen, of Easthampton; her grandsons, Jason Brodeur and his wife, Ashley, Grayson Nash, and Liam Nash, and her great grandson, Dalten Brodeur; as well as a brother, Peter Nadeau and his wife, Ann, and nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son, T/Sgt. Gregory Nash, who died in April 2000. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Dianne M. Nash will be held Monday, January 30, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 a.m., at St. Joseph Church celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Michael A. Shershanovich, Pastor. Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Nash may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
