1961 - 2016 Dianne Margaret Stovall,55, ofFarmington, CT, passed away peacefully in the company of her family onSeptember 30, 2016. Diannewas born inPittsfield, MassachusettsonApril 26, 1961, the daughter of Richard F. and Patricia M. Maloney.Shewas educated atSt. Joseph's High School, Seton Hill College and Washington College. Dianne was a licensed insurance agent who worked for many years at the Hartford Insurance Company and the Advest Brokerage in Avon. Dianne's greatest love were her three children, Erin, Maggie and Connor, who were the light of her life. Some of the fondest memories Dianne had were of being a soccer mom in Farmington and enjoying all of her children's' activities. Dianne was a devoted and loving mother and she was so proud of each of her children. She was always there with a smile, a hug, and whatever kind of support she could give. Dianne was an active, creative and artistic person who loved to garden and to be in the beautiful countryside, including by the Farmington River and the Berkshires. As a young woman, Dianne was an avid skier and enjoyed playing basketball, along with doing macrame and silk screening. Dianne also had a great eye and loved photography, especially photographing her children and nature. Dianneis preceded in death byher father, Richard Maloney, of SouthfieldMassachusetts. Dianneis survived byher daughters Erin and Maggie and her son Connor Stovall. She is also survived by her mother Patricia Maloney, her two sisters,Judith Maloney and Pamela MacKenzie, her twin brother, Paul Maloney, her niece and god-child Brooke Toczylowski, her three nephews, Cortlandt Toczylowski and Duncan and Garrett MacKenzie, and other family and friends. SERVICES: Arrangements are being handled by the Ahern Funeral Homes Inc. The family is holding a memorial service on Tuesday, October 4, meeting at the funeral home in Unionville at 12:30 and continuing to St. Thomas of the Apostle Church in West Hartford for a 1:30 memorial. Burial will follow atRiverside Cemetery in Farmington. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in the name of Dr. Richard Channick at the Pulmonary Critical Care department at Massachusetts General Hospital (c/o Dr. Channick at Pulmonary and Critical Care, 55 Fruit Street, Boston, MA 02114).
