Dianne M. Tatro

1947 - 2014 Ms. Dianne Marie Boynton Tatro, 66, of 10 Spencer Rd. North Adams, died Saturday, April 5, 2014, at her home. She was born in North Adams, on Oct. 14, 1947, daughter of the late Frank Boynton and Florence Morris Boynton Pitt. She attended Drury High School. Dianne last worked as a personal care attendant. Before that, she worked at A&P Supermarket and Carol Cable Co. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She enjoyed knitting and puzzles. Dianne loved cats and Elvis Presley. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include two daughters, Melissa J. Tatro of North Adams and Sherry A. Tatro-Hathaway of Rutland Town, Vt.; a son, Ronnie J. Tatro of North Adams; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Tatro, Kristina Tatro, Nicoletta Hathaway, Garrett Hathaway, Huntter Hathaway, Brett Shepard, and Samantha Shepard; a great-granddaughter, Addisyn Shepherd; four sisters, Kathleen Ballou and her husband, Bruce, of Clarendon Spring, Vt., Carol Zegarowski and her husband, Wick, of Conway, S.C., Susan Kiwacz of North Adams, and Jean Langlois and her husband, Paul, of Williamstown; her stepmother, Lucille Boynton of New Britain, Conn., and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband, John Tatro and her brother, Michael Pitt. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Dianne Tatro will be Thursday, April 10, 2014, at 9 a.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main St. North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations are suggested for the in care of the funeral home.
