Donald Lennon Obituary
Donald Lennon

Donald Lennon, 78, of Hinsdale, passed away at home on Monday June 6, 2016. Don met his wife Norma Barnaby when they were teenagers, they stuck together from the moment they met. They tied the knot in 1955 and spent a memorable 60 years of marriage together. Don was employed at Crane and Company in Dalton MA, for 44 years. Those years left him with many fond memories, and relationships. In his free time he loved to travel and visit different places all over the country and globe. Some of his favorite activities included going to casinos and gambling (if there's a casino in heaven he's playing the slots right now), and having animated conversations with everyone he came across. He had the ability to make a personal connection to someone no matter where he was. Don loved to be outdoors, enjoying the sunshine, whether it was going around his yard, or visiting with people in town. He lived a long and full life, and he will be greatly missed by everyone that associated themselves with him. It will be hard for those that knew him to forget his loving, friendly, boisterous and open personality. With his passing Don leaves behind his wife Norma, his three daughters Ann and Jim Hunt of Hinsdale, Jane & Jamie Larkin of Washington and Holly & Greg Proctor of Hinsdale, four grandsons, and two great grandchildren. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires 877 South St Pittsfield, MA 01201.
