Edith E. Rawson Gabry Turner 1927-2012 PITTSFIELD & OCALA Edith E. Rawson Gabry Turner, 84, resided in Massachusetts for sixty- six years and Florida for fourteen years, passed away January 30 at Estelle's House in Ocala, Fla. Born May 14, 1927 in Pittsfield, the daughter of Ivan and Meta Butler Rawson, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School in 1946. Edith was employed by the Beloit Corporation for nine years as a secretary. She attended the Reigning Love Church in Pittsfield and the Living Waters in Ocala. Fla., and the College Church of Northampton Mass. Edith was predeceased by her husband Winthrop E. Turner. She leaves her daughter Lorna J. Metzler of Ocala, Fla., sons Robert J. Gabry of Turners Falls, Mass., Michael J. Gabry of Ocala, Fla., Steven J. Gabry of Florence, Mass., sister Judith Bullett, and brothers Charles Rawson of Dalton, William Rawson of Richmond, Ivan Rawson of Richmond, Donald Rawson of Lenox, Peter Rawson of Lebanon, N.Y., Arthur Rawson of Richmond, David Rawson of Richmond. Seven Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren. Edith was predeceased by her brothers Frank Rawson, Roy Rawson and Jack Rawson, Richard Rawson and Ann Doris Lyons. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Mrs. Edith E. Turner will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Noon at Reigning Love Church of East Street, with the Rev. Philip Thurmond pastor officiating. Burial will be in the spring in the Center Cemetery in Richmond, MA. Calling hours will be held on the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the service at noon, at the Reigning Love Church. Donations in her memory may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshire, Shriners Hospital for Children or St. Jude Children's Hospital care of the WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
