Edward H. Blair

1936 - 2014 PITTSFIELD Edward H. Blair, 77, of Barnstead, NH, died February 10, 2014. Born in Pittsfield, on July 24, 1936, he was the son of Harold and Mary Collins Blair. He wintered in Tesquesta, Fla. for many years. He graduated from Pittsfield High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Bentley College of Finance and Accounting. He served with the Massachusetts Army National Guard. Until his retirement in 1993, he was a special agent with the Internal Revenue service for twenty-eight years. A loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, his family was the center of his life. He enjoyed spending time outdoors. Family members include his wife of 54 years, Ann Marsh Blair; two daughters, Patricia Kwok and Nancy M. Blair, both of Manchester, N.H.; three grandchildren, Brandon, Kelsey, and Nicholas, and several nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: Following cremation, calling hours are Tuesday, May 20, 2014, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH. A mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. in the Parish of the Transfiguration, 107 Alsace St., Manchester, N.H. Urn burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery, Barnstead, N.H., at a later date.
