1922 - 2015 CHESHIRE Mr. Edward F. Trzcinski, 92, of Furnace Hill, died Tuesday afternoon, May 26, at North Adams Commons. He was born in Greenfield, Mass. on July 10, 1922, a son of the late John and Theophila (Spitka) Trzcinski. He came to Adams as a child with his family, and attended Adams schools. He had lived in Cheshire since 1952. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the US Navy in the European Theater, until his Honorable Discharge in 1946. Mr. Trzcinski worked in the Naval Ordnance Division of General Electric Co. in Pittsfield for over 40 years, until retiring in 1987. He was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Cheshire, where he served as an usher for many years. He was a member of the Polish National Alliance, the St. Michael Society, and the General Electric Quarter Century and Pensioner's Clubs. He enjoyed golfing and playing basketball. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, the former Patricia C. Roy, whom he married on October 9, 1948 in the former St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Adams; and by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grand-nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Chester, Bruno and Stanley Trzcinski. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be held on Monday, June 1, at 8:45 a.m. from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Cheshire, celebrated by the Rev. David R. Raymond, Pastor. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. There are no calling hours.
