1921 - 2015 PITTSFIELD Eleanor M. Everhart, 94, passed away on November 11 at Craneville Place of Dalton. Born in Schenectady, NY on July 2, 1921 the daughter of George W. and Mary Stahle Everhart, she was a 1939 graduate of Pittsfield High School and attended the former Berkshire Business College. Eleanor was employed for 36 years at MetLife in the clerical department and then at the former Union Federal Savings Bank for eight years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Zions Evangelical Lutheran Church and enjoyed stamp collecting. Eleanor is survived by her brother, George "Bill" W. Everhart and his wife, Joan of Dalton and five nephews, William, Christopher and his wife, Alice, Robert and his wife, Joan, Steven and Richard and his wife, Karen Everhart, great-nieces, Andrea, Clara and great-nephews, Patrick, Ian and Michael. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert S. Everhart. FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service for Ms. Eleanor M. Everhart will be held Tuesday, November 17 at 11a.m. at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, with the Rev. Timothy Weisman pastor of Zions Evangelical Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Pittsfield Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Eleanor's family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Craneville Place of Dalton for the care they provided to her. Donations in her memory are suggested to either the Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church building fund or HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
