Elizabeth Dupee

1921-2014 Elizabeth Dupee, 92, of Adams, died Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at the Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in Adams on December 2, 1921, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Burke Raimer she attended Adams schools. Her first place of employment was for the former Berkshire Mills in Adams where she worked for many years until the mill closed, after which she became employed with the former Adams Supermarket in Adams, where she retired. Elizabeth was a communicant of the former St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Adams, where she was a member of the Rosary Sodality. She enjoyed gardening. Her husband Francis Dupee, whom she married on January 4, 1947, died December 12, 1998. She is survived by two sons, William Dupee of Adams, and Ronald Dupee and his wife Diane of Pittsfield, a sister, Dorothy Raimer of Cheshire, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Raimer, Helen Malloy, and five brothers, John, Matthew, Carl, Francis, and Thomas Raimer. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Elizabeth will take place Monday, May 19, 2014 at 12 PM in the Trottier Pringle Funeral Home, 6 Summer St., Adams, with the Rev. Mr. Gregory LaFreniere, Deacon of St. Pope John Paul the II Parish, officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service.
