Elizabeth M. Nylic

1934 - 2016 Mrs. Elizabeth M. Nylic, 82, of Lanesborough passed away Friday evening, May 27, 2016, at the home of her daughter, Cheryl, in North Adams . Born in Pittsfield on January 21, 1934 the daughter of John E. Clark Sr. and Elizabeth Mae Bold Clark, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School. She worked for Lansen Mold in Pittsfield for several years. She later worked for Hi-Tech Mold and Tool in Quality Control for several years, retiring in 2000. Mrs. Nylic was a communicant of St. Charles Church. She enjoyed spending time in Lanesborough and enjoyed the wild life that surrounded her home, especially the Hummingbirds. She also liked crossword puzzles. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew R. Nylic, whom she married April 19, 1954 in St. Charles Church; he died on April 23, 2013. She is survived by two daughters Diane Cathryn Nylic Pavin (Robert) of Pittsfield and Cheryl Lyn Nylic Trzcinka (Bernard) of North Adams; a brother, John E. Clark Jr. (Pauline) of Cheshire; a granddaughter, Aprillee Pavin Mazzeo (Matt), and two great-grandsons Lukas and Ayden Mazzeo; sister in law, Meredith Nylic Clemmons (Jerry) of Pittsfield; three nephews, Michael Clark, Gary Clark and Edward Clark and a dear cousin, Patricia Denno of CT. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth M. Nylic will be Thursday, June 2, 2016 , at 9 a.m. from the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield MA with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Charles Church, celebrated by the Rev. A. Peter Gregory, pastor. Calling hours at the funeral home will be TODAY, Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires, Berkshire County Jimmy Fund or to the Berkshire Humane Society care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, in her memory.
