Elizabeth Witherell

1941 - 2014 NORTH ADAMS Elizabeth Witherell, 72, of Henry, Ill., died Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at OSF ST. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Elizabeth was born Aug. 11, 1941, in North Adams to Kenneth and Cirena (La Due) Upton. She married Robert Witherell on Jan. 14, 1960, in North Adams. He survives in Henry. Also surviving are her children, Linda (Tim) Boucher, of Hartford, N.Y., and Sandra (Gary) Ogborn, of Henry; her grandchildren, Mary Rondeau, Paul Rondeau, Bethany Haas, Jillian Haas, Caleb Boucher; her great-grandchildren, Elijah Schwartz and Gavin LeMaire; her brothers, Eddie, Robert and Harold Upton; sister, Lois Fachini; brothers-in-law, David Witherell, of North Adams and Richard (Linda) Witherell, of Dalton, and many nieces and nephews. Her parents, her siblings, Gertrude Adkins, Gloria Beals, Madeline Bliss, Kenneth, Donald, Walter and Leo Upton, brother-in-law, James Witherell, preceded her in death. Elizabeth was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church of North Adams. She was educated and training as a Certified Nurses Aide. Elizabeth was an avid reader, a Facebook fan, loved to play online games, such as Pogo and loved to play cards with her family. FUNERAL NOTICE: Visitation will be Tuesday, July 1, 2014, from 10 to 11 a.m. at CALVERT JOHNSON MEMORIAL HOME, "Downtown Chapel" 416 Edward St. Henry, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Henry. Fr. Tom Mizeur will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Henry.
