1915 - 2014 ADAMS Emily "Millie" Sieczkowski Czerwinski, 98, formerly of 3 Richmond Lane, Adams, died Saturday afternoon, May 10, 2014, at Williamstown Commons. She was born in Adams on June 19, 1915, a daughter of the late Marcel and Magdalena Sliwa Sieczkowski. She attended Adams schools, including St. Stanislaus Kostka School. Mrs. Czerwinski last worked as a cook at the former Adams Rest Home in Adams. Earlier, she worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. and the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Co. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, and was a member of its Rosary Sodality. She was a former member of the St. Stanislaus School Parent-Teacher Group and of the former TMTM Club. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, gardening, and walking. Her husband, John Czerwinski, whom she married in 1935, died in 1972. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Koperniak and her husband, Stanley, of Adams; two sons, Edward Czerwinski and his wife, Janice, of Harwich, Mass., and Daniel Czerwinski and his wife, Barbara, of Cheshire; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph, William, Chester, and Mathew Sieczkowski, and by her sister, Gladys Kuzia. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 14, at 9 a.m. from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, celebrated by the Rev. John Gawienowski. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Members of the St. Stanislaus Rosary Sodality will meet at the funeral home on Tuesday at 4:40 p.m. to pay their respects and recite the Rosary.
