Eunice F. Ross

1935-2012 WEST STOCKBRIDGE Eunice F. Ross, of West Center Road in West Stockbridge died December 26, 2012 in the same home in which she was born.

Born April 4, 1935 the daughter of Archibald and Irene Arnold Fadding, she was a 1953 High Honor graduate of the former Williams High School in Stockbridge.

Mrs. Ross and her husband owned and operated the Fabri-care Center and coin-op laundry in Great Barrington. She then worked at the Riverbrook Residence in Stockbridge where she became a residential manager.

In 2007 she was awarded the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Distinguished Citizen Award for her dedication and compassion in serving individuals with disabilities.

She was a member of Grace Church Congregational in Pittsfield.

Mrs. Ross is survived by her husband of 58 years, Thomas J. Ross; one son, Timothy and his wife Julie, Thea Ross; three grandsons Keith, Joshua, Evan and one great grandson, Adam. Eunice is also survived by her sister Lois, wife of William Milligan of Alford; and a brother, Russell, husband of Patricia of Glendale; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, A.J. Fadding Jr. "Bub"; and by her sister,Marlyn Fadding.

Funeral services for the late Eunice Ross will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at Grace Church Congregational, 1055 Williams Street, Pittsfield, Rev. Thomas Bridgman, celebrant, followed by a reception at the church. Burial will be held in the spring at West Center Cemetery in West Stockbridge.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 28, 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m. at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME in Great Barrington.
