1933 - 2015 NORTH ADAMS Eva M. (Goodrow) Harding, 82, died Thursday September 17, 2015 at North Adams Commons. She was born in North Adams, MA on September 4, 1933, daughter of William and Frances (Barron) Goodrow. She attended local schools. Eva was primarily a homemaker but had worked at the former Hunter Outdoor Products and the Homestead Rest Home. She was the widow of Levi E. Harding who died on December 13, 1987. Survivors include one son, Donald R. Harding and his wife, Debbie of Jupiter, FL and two daughters including, Kimberly Slade and her husband, John of Dalton and Wendy King and her husband, Richard of North Adams. She also leaves three stepdaughters including, Nancy Grady and her husband, James of Williamstown; Barbara Donovan and her husband, Anthony of Adams; and Jane Kanelos of Pittsfield; two grandsons, Donald Ryan Harding of Pittsfield and Zachary L. Harding of North Adams; two great granddaughters, Mia and Izabel Harding; a brother, Norman Goodrow of Del Haven, NJ; her good friend, Sue Jowett; her constant companion, "Diamond" and nieces and nephews and many step-grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Frances Tatro and brothers, Donald, Arthur, and Leonard. She was also predeceased by her stepchildren, Ruth Lisee, William and Robert Harding and her step-grandson, Jonnie Basinger. FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service will be held in Southview cemetery at the convenience of the family.
