Exilda M. Suprenant

1909 - 2014 ADAMS Exilda M. Suprenant, 105, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014 at the Williamstown Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in North Adams on June 13, 1909, she was the daughter of Calix and Edith Trombley Roy. Exilda was employed for over 50 years with the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams as a chief steward for the company's union. She was a communicant of Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church in Adams. Exilda loved her home and family, and loved to travel. She was loved dearly by her family and will be missed beyond measure. She is survived by a daughter, Lorraine LaVigne of Adams, two brothers; Rolland Roy of Pownal, and George Roy of Williamstown, two grandchildren; Mark LaVigne of Adams, and Gayle Silvestri and her husband, Dan of Westchester, Pa., four great grandchildren; Gina Amman, David Tomasini, Matthew and Michael Silvestri, Six great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her long time care giver, Shirley Cyrulik of Adams. She was predeceased by four sisters, two brothers, and her son in law, Gerald LaVigne. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Exilda will take place Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Notre Dame Church in Adams, celebrated by the Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery in North Adams. Calling hours at the TROTTIER PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
