1918 - 2015 ADAMS Mrs. Florence D. (Johnson) Millette, 96, of 23 Notch Rd., died Thursday afternoon, August 6, 2015, at Craneville Place in Dalton. She was born in Adams on August 26, 1918, a daughter of the late William and Dora (Noel) Johnson. She attended the former Notre Dame Elementary School and the former Adams High School. Mrs. Millette worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams for 30 years, until retiring. Earlier, she had worked at the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Co. in Adams. She was a communicant of Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, Adams, and was a member of the Adams Senior Citizens. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, crafts, sewing, and traveling to Florida. Her husband, Joseph Millette, whom she married on September 21, 1940, in Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, died on December 24, 1992. She is survived by two sons, Richard Millette and his wife, Jeanne, of Port St. Lucie, Florida; and William Millette and his wife, Bonnie, of Windsor, MA; three grandchildren, Jason Millette and his wife, Jennifer, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Brian Millette and his wife, Brandy, of Hobe Sound, FL; and Heather Leonard and her husband, Andrew, of Ashby, MA; three great-grandchildren, Raven, Aiden and Jasper Millette; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Wilfred Johnson, and by a sister, Mildred Sprowson. The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful, caring people at Craneville Place of Dalton who provided love and care for Florence. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 12th, at 1 p.m. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Relatives and friends are invited. There are no calling hours. Instead of memorial donations, Florence's family would like their friends to take a loved one out to dinner in her memory.
