Francelia "Dimp" B. Weatherwax 1937-2012 DALTON Francelia "Dimp" B. Weatherwax, 74, of 54 Mt. View Terrace passed away Monday at Berkshire Medical Center surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness. Born in Pittsfield, on March 25, 1937, the daughter of Treffle E. and Beatrice F. Harris Beaupre, she attended Pittsfield Public Schools. Francelia was employed at Studley Press for 20 years as a typesetter. She enjoyed playing bingo, working with her dollhouses, playing Pogo online, she was an avid Red Sox fan, loved listening to her collection of Elvis Presley cd's, and was a proud member and former president of The Capsule Friend Club. Francelia leaves her husband James H. Weatherwax Sr., who she married February 19, 1955, her son James H. Weatherwax Jr and his wife Alyson of Dalton, daughters Denise Pierce and her husband Donald of North Adams, Judy Sayers and her companion Eric Elsworth of Peru, grandchildren Jacquelyne D. Pierce, Brian Sayers, Matthew Sayers, Gabriel Bell, Jacob Bell, Jordan Bell, Joshua Weatherwax, six great grandchildren and her brothers and sisters Treffle E. Beaupre Jr. of Ft. Madison, Iowa, Gloria Vickery of Pittsfield, Albert Beaupre of Pittsfield, Violet Wilcox and her husband Richard of Pittsfield, and Darleen Thomas of Pittsfield. She was predeceased by a brother Edwin J. Beaupre FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service for Mrs. Francelia B. Weatherwax will be held Saturday, January 21 at 11 a.m. at the BARTLETT WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, with the Rev. Douglas Duncan officiating. There will be a time of visitation on the day of the service from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. A Celebration of Life will take place immediatley following services at The Dalton American Legion.
