Frances Sbrozzi Carmon PITTSFIELD Mrs. Frances (Sbrozzi) Carmon, 85, passed away Friday afternoon at Berkshire Medical Center. She was born and raised in Lee, moving to Pittsfield when she married the late Victor R. Carmon in 1951. She worked for several years at Eaton Paper Company. After raising her family, she worked at South Street Pharmacy. When she retired, Mrs. Carmon enjoyed working at the election polls, knitting and reading. She was a long-time parishioner of St Theresa, where she also did volunteer work. She is survived by her two daughters, Karen and her husband Hunter Giroux of Ellington, Conn., and Susan and her husband Len Penella of Norwood, Mass. She leaves five grandchildren Cody, Brady, and Trevor Giroux, and Allyson and LJ Penella. She also leaves her sister Esther Yetz of Lee, several nieces and nephews, and many dear relatives and friends. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Frances Bernadette Carmon who died June 1, 2012 will be held at Saint Joseph's Church Pittsfield on Friday June 8th at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Monsignor Michael Shershanovich, Pastor, Officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held at the Wellington Funeral Home, 220 East Street, Pittsfield on Thursday June 7th from 4 to 7 p.m.
