Frank P. Fezzie Sr.

PITTSFIELD Frank Paul Fezzie Sr., 95, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014. Mr. Fezzie was born in Pittsfield, a son of the late Dominic and Maria Ricci Fezzie, and was educated in the Pittsfield School system. He served in the Army from 1945 until 1946 and in the Army Reserves until 1962. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and the Elks. He is survived by his son, Frank Fezzie Jr. of Myrtle Beach; two daughters, Barbara Mays of Gate City, Va., and Jacqueline Dolen of Kingsport, Tenn.; two sisters, Angelina Lingoski and Claire Dodge, both of Pittsfield; brother, Thomas Fezzi of Albuquerque, N.M.; nephews, Charles Fezzie Jr. and Edward Dodge Jr. both of Pittsfield, and Raymond Fezzi of St. Louis, Mo.; nieces, Marie Frank of Northampton, Mass., Bonnie Lingoski of Cambridge, Mass., and Cheryl Perry of Melbourne, Fla., and his extended family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Fezzie was predeceased by a daughter, Francine Delphia, and a brother, Charles Fezzie. FUNERAL NOTICE: Mr. Fezzie was laid to rest with his late wife, Nell Leonard Fezzie.
