1934 - 2015 PITTSFIELD Frank G. Lynn, 80, of 100 Thomas Island Rd, passed away Feb. 9, 2015 at Hillcrest Commons where he was surrounded with the love and support of his family. Born on Apr. 24, 1934 in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Dr. Kurt Lippmin and Elizabeth Runch Lippmin. He was a radio announcer in the army in 1956 then his love for selling property brought him to Berkshire country where he decided to settle down and reside. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and spending time with his family. He made the best cup of jo around and told the best short stories there were. He was a man of loyalty, honor, dignity, and his word. He is survived by his beautiful wife, Erika Lynn whom he married Sept. 10, 1986 on top of a Lanesboro mountain; three children, Michael and Patti Merriam, Jody Merriam, and Kym Merriam of Pittsfield; adopted daughter, Cheryl McLoughin of Pittsfield; grandchildren, Alexandra Perkins, Samantha Perkins, Jayden McLoughin, Austin Merriam, Sheldon Merriam, Joseph Merriam, Taylor Merriam and Eliza Hottel. FUNERAL NOTICE: A "Celebration of Life" will be held on Mar. 1, 2015 at The Fairways (303 Crane Ave) from 1 p.m to 3 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to join the family in remembrance of the many joyful years spent with such an amazing man.
