1944 - 2014 BERKSHIRE VILLAGE Frank George Rosier, 70 of 181 Old State Road, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014 while hunting in the woods behind his home in Berkshire Village. Born on Nov. 3, 1944 in Pittsfield a son of the late Adolph N. and Mildred Sondrini Rosier. He attended schools in Cheshire and Adams. Frank was last employed by the General Electric Company retiring from General Dynamics in 2001; he had been employed by the company since 1965. He also had worked for Rolling Acres Farm and Model Dairy Farm. He was a member of the Cheshire Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, playing corn hole and pitch. He leaves his beloved wife, the former Tammy J. Davis whom he married at First Baptist Church in Cheshire on Oct. 14, 1983 A son, Frank Rosier and his wife, Jill of Hudson, New Hampshire, a daughter, Sandra Furey of Adams, four sisters, Rose McDonald of Harwinton, Conn., Josephine Lewis and Linda Kelly both of Cheshire and Avis Merrill of North Adam, three brothers, Adolph Rosier of Hancock, Richard and David Rosier both of Cheshire, five grandchildren, his former wife, Carol Smith of the State of Florida. He was predeceased by a sister in law, Gail Rosier. FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours at DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME will be Friday, Dec. 19, 2014 from 4 to 6 p.m. with a prayer service conducted immediately following by the Rev. David A. Raymond, pastor of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials in his memory be made to the Lanesboro Fire Dept. or to the Cheshire Fire Dept. both in care of DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME, 121 North State Rd. Cheshire, Ma. 01225.
